Why there are two products at all.
We’ve been building raffle software for 20 years. In that time the people who run raffles split cleanly into two groups: the ones who run WordPress and want to own their site, and the ones who have a cause, a prize, and no web team. So there are two products, not one compromise that serves neither.
WPRaffle is the original WordPress raffle ticket generator plugin, for the first group. Chance2Win is the done-for-you raffle website service, for the second. Same team, same software heritage, same phone number.
The timeline
Every major web platform, one raffle engine.
The first raffle ticket generator, built as standalone PHP because nothing existed. “Raffle ticket generator” had no Google result.
Joomla, then osCommerce in 2008. Private builds for organizations begin.
Magento. The engine keeps moving wherever the web moves.
The first public WooCommerce plugin ships. WPRaffle as you know it today.
WPRaffle for WordPress, Chance2Win for done-for-you, and a US team that answers the phone.
We’ve run so many raffles we honestly stopped counting.
